The only in-park campground on the Grand Canyon's North Rim, in ponderosa forest at 8,200 ft on the edge of the Transept.

Shade reality: High-elevation ponderosa and aspen forest — most sites well shaded; rim-edge sites (11–18, T1–T6) are more open toward the Transept gorge.
